Dufus Made Good
This time last year, I thought that the cloud was a fluffy, white thing that floated across the sky. And I would snort in derision at people who were constantly peering and tapping away at their smart phones.
Now I am one of those people. And I know what the other sort of cloud is (kindof)!
I took a local government course last Autumn - Fall to my friends Stateside - instructing people in how to construct their very first websites. I almost (almost) feel like I could give that class now! Not sure if the students would agree ...But it shows me how far I have come in my thinking. And its all down to the training I have received here.
I have often felt like the dufus of the Wealthy Affiliate world. When I enter the live chat and submit my - invariably very basic - question, I feel like this: I'm going into a coffee shop and up to the table of two highly experienced online marketers. I tap them on the shoulder, interrupt their conversation and ask them the most inane question. And you know what? They always answer. And so far, they've always been right. Where else would you get it?
And as I fumble through each lesson, I constantly suspect that everyone is progressing so much faster than I am. My head feels less like a sponge and more like a sieve, with important bits of information leaking out.
But I've made it! To the end of course 2. Hard to believe for one so technically challenged. And when I read Kyle's words, about how I now know more than 99% of my competition .....! That just feels wonderful and fills me with so much hope.
So thank you to all of you who have helped me on my way so far.
Onward and upwards for all of us.
Tara
