Maiden voyage-blog post numero uno
So, here it is...maiden voyage on WA with blog post numero uno. That in itself is an accomplismhment... getting over my tendency toward perfectionism enough to take the chance on putting my thoughts and modest accomplishments in writing for others to see.
My progress thus far: I am finishing level 2 of the training on WA, which has been so wonderfully laid out for newbies like me. I am the proud owner of several domains, one of which has a real live, honest to goodness website that has been indexed by google. I have written several posts with keyword rich content (one of which apparently has ranked in Google), and I am still plugging away at this new adventure before and after my day job.
My niche: Health and wellness, specifically weight loss for women
Things I am proud of: Having the courage to try something new and challenging in hopes of some day being able to enjoy the freedom of working from the comfort of my home rather than facing the stress that goes with my current full time career. While I have had much success and many blessings throughout my career, I look forward to the potential of some day stepping away. I dream of waking each day, enjoying a cup of coffee, and knowing I literally could work without even getting out of my pajamas if i felt like it.
My plan/goal in the upcoming 3 months is to finish the WA training modules, have successfully figured out how to add affiliate marketing to my website, and to add and improve new/current posts with content that is relevant and helpful to others.
My goal in the next 6 months is to hopefully make at least one sale and determine if my niche and content has the potential to earn money and ranking.
Thank you WA community for being such a welcoming, supportive and responsive group of people! I feel very hopeful for the future.

Congratulations on that first blog. It took me 2 months to write my first one and that was my About Me/ bio post. That is still the best one I have written. It definitely has the most comments.
You write splendidly and it will only get better, and easier.
I am in the Health/ Fitness thingy as I am a Personal Trainer and Nutritionist. Google is trying to make it hard on us but don't let that deter you.
WA gives you all the tools and resources to succeed right at your fingertips. Holler at me if you need help or just PM me.

Oh thank you so much for the encouragement and support! Hopefully I can avoid pitfalls with this niche.... any advice is appreciated! I am naïve to all of the ways in which Google may make things difficult.
Us health/fitness folk stick together. We have a tough job in today's world. A lot of people need our help. And the pay is good.
