I have been a premium member since June of 2013 ...feels like a long time and I have been through trial upon trial and haven't seemed to gain any positive momentum. I love reading the posts and have followed the tutorials and kind of stay in the 'background' I guess that is my 'introvert' nature. I'm ready to come out and stop 'lurking' I want to change my life ...I need socialization, friends and support...to enable me to become who I want to be...
I have built a website that Yahoo shows on page 1 but Google seems to 'repel' me ....I would love for anyone here to view my site and leave comments and message me here with any recommendations for improvement. I am thinking I may be in the wrong niche...I am having trouble trying to figure out how to get traffic and create an email list. I tried to do a "back links' promotion through fiverr and that is how I got the 'likes' but, still no traffic..." Any suggestions would help so much...Thanks Everyone. Please post your websites for me to look over and comment on as well so I can return the favor.
I look forward to getting some positive momentum going here..I am thinking about creating another site geared towards Girl's lego play sets because my daughter and I love them and they are great for actually making time for kids and parents to interact together instead of just playing video games =) ... I would love some feedback from others. Thank you!

Hi there Tammy, keep on you will get there! Just one thing "backlinks through Fiverr" could be part of the reason that Google is "repelling" you, also those steps that bomergp08 is talking about are good to get done, and then steer clear of linkfarming, Google does not like it at all!
Yes what fisheagle says about fiverr is true. If you want some good quality backlinks that Google will not punish you for, I recommend you write a couple of relevant articles for Street Articles. There is a link for them just under the Jaaxy link near the bottom of the menu on the left. The article has to be relevant to your website but not the same content and has to be at least 400 words to be granted 1 backlink. For every 400 words you get another backlink.
I checked out your website and it looks to be okay but I do have some concerns. Before I start to give you a list of them I have a question for you. Do you have a Google+ account and Google Authorship set up on your website?
No, I haven't set up the Google + and Google Authorship yet. I am still a bit confused by all of it. I plan on looking into that some more as I work through more of the training.
OK, traffic is important to help you gain authority in your niche and for Google to start and take notice. Google can be slow at times so just know that it may take some weeks for them to start ranking you.
However you will get a nice boost when you set up Authorship which will happen in another 3 lessons (Level 2, Lesson 9) from where you are now. So just keep on learning. You will get it and in turn and in time Google will come around.

Hi Tammy! I really like the theme and the lay out of your page. My one suggestion..remember to add header (1,2,3) to your post. that include the keywork that you are trying to rank.
NO! Do not do Header 1! Google doesn't particularly like anything bigger than Heading 2. I, like Kyle, only use Headings 3 and 4.
