Okay I hope this post makes sense. On my website I have the standard pages displayed across the top menu bar like about me, privacy policy, and product reviews. Now Under prod

How did it go, Tammy?

I have done all of the steps and the drop down list still doesn't show =(
I have went to the appearance - menu- and have the product review for the program indented under the program reviews page as a 'sub item' and have the parent set for the page when looking at the edit page as well. I have No idea why it isn't working for me. Maybe I have a theme that doesn't support drop down lists from the top menu? Thanks for all the input! I really do appreciate it!

I believe every theme supports the drop down. You just have to find out what you have not done yet. If you haven't tried this yet, go to the pages and scroll down to the page attributes on the right sidebar. Then click the "parent" where you want your sub items to drop down, and then order them accordingly beginning with 0 (the first drop down) through how many drop downs you want. You will have to do this to every page that you want to drop down on a parent. Please let me know so we can look into all the possibilities that you missed to make this work.

Thanks for the tutorial link. I actually do have my menu structure set up that way with the review page nestled under the product review page as a sub item and have the product review page set up as 'parent ' to the program review I wrote but, it still doesn't show up as a drop down box...maybe my theme is a bad choice =(

Hi Tammy, I hope I understood your concern well. But here's a tutorial to help you out if this is what you are doing:

I think that is odd since that seems to be a basic structure ability of all free blog theme... Thanks for the support! I've been banging my head on this one thing for weeks!

Oh, go to your menu, then add the pages.

Just indent the pages under the parent so that they will drop down on the parent page. I hope I made myself clear. Hope it goes well.

Ok...I'm sure someone knows how to do this =) I have my Website hosted here and I use the pagelines platform free wordpress theme. My admin gravitar is the default mystery per

I use (Simple Local Avatars) plugin it seem to work great

Good @RICH has guided you .

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the reply's! I'll get this eventually ;-)

It just takes a little bit of patience to make things work out, keep trying until you find what you need to do. Cheers!

Hi Tammy. This happened to me, too. The reason is that I have previously used wordpress and have an existing account prior to WA. I only had to go that account. So, I registered at Gravatar.com using that account then added all the email addresses associated with my name. I think you have to find out why your info is not being recognized. There could be various reasons for that and you can go from there. I hope that helps.

WordPress officially uses the Gravatar service http://www. gravatar.com You need to register with them there separately. There is information on the integration here: http://codex.wordpress.org/How_to_Use_Gravatars_in_WordPress, It appears however it can take several days for this to populate and update your "mystery man". :) Rich.

One question to the pro's out there. Do you use your real name on your all your different Niche sites or a pen name? Do you have your photo on your about me page? If you us

I would go with your real name and photo no matter how many Niche your in. It's the trust from your customers Thingy ~¿ô

Yup, I agree!!!

I think this is more an "old school" technique, before such things as Google Authorship and social networking came to the fore. It would be a labour of love to create and manage multiple identities across all the various components for a multitude of sites. Rich.

Thanks for the input Rich. I plan on building my site around one niche to begin with and then branching out from there...to ultimately end up building a large niche site so I was planning on using my real name and info. I just know that there are marketers out there that just do what they call 'campaigns' small micro-niche sites...and build it and move onto another niche...so they have many, many sites working for them...

This is where I was stuck for a bit...trying to figure out which is better...

okay, I have been a premium member for almost a month and although I have been through the whole level one training module I have been in a place of indecision...(stuck, if yo

Hiya Tammy, I like your home page in the fact that it is nicely broken up with pics and such. It's easier on the reader this way. Personally I think that I like a bit more of a contrast on the text... I'm not a big fan of grey text. The more it sticks out, the easier on the eyes. But, again, that is only my opinion and hopefully others will comment on this. Over all, I like it and am looking forward to watching your content evolve! Nice job!!!

Hey Tammy...Here is the rule you will see me post on here time to time...Spend 1/3 time reading/studying and 2/3 time DOING...

Why? Because you learn more by doing...really...doing is the key or taking action!

Now I know it easy to say that...especially here where everything is so damn interesting...but it does work...

As you get more experience you need to spend less time reading/studying and more doing

Hi Tammy. As someone who joined on the same day as you can I congratulate you on a very professeonal site, allowing for the fact that it is at a very early stage. I am at the gathering info stage still, but have great plans for the next few weeks. Hope you don't mind a male opinion on a very feminine site. Con
