I have been going through the lessons trying to keep up. Adding blog posts is slow but I want to finish the training. Knowing that my website was not ready I applied for two affiliate programs. They rejected me, not unexpectedly. I hope this does not effect my relationship with them in the future. I also joined Amazon and now need to have three significant sales in 180 days. I hope I can get things running soon enough for that to happen.

It probably won't affect them for later. Many of them deny you due to lack of traffic or your site is not old enough. Wait awhile and get it built up a little more and try again.
As far as amazon work hard follow the lesson and you can do it.
