The Best Way To Get Motivated To Write
How do you find the motivation to write more content? I find that sometimes I'm not sure what to write about, but I just start typing. Sure I have to go back and edit and change things, but if I just keep on typin' I eventually come up with some pretty interesting content lol!
Motivation
My motivation comes from REALLY wanting to succeed as a blogger. I tend to get too preoccupied with perfection and it freezes my fingers and brain... If I force myself to just type the next sentence, even though it may not make sense initially, than I will have a piece of content that I can then edit and improve on.
I'm actually doing this right now :)! Can you tell? If I pause and try to think of something cute to say I will lose momentum and start to doubt that I can do this. For example, is momentum spelled right? I'm not sure, but spell check didn't warn me so I'm going to keep typing rather than googling it right now.
Fear of Judgement
My main issue when I write is that I don't feel yet like I'm an expert. Why would anyone want to read what I have to say? If they do read it, will they judge my writing and make fun of me? WHO CARES! Just keep writing and don't stop. Haters will hate, but I have to brush that off. They don't affect my future and my business. Only I can affect it by judging myself. If I'm too critical of myself, I will stop and that will obviously affect my business.
I'm Too New
I've only even known about WA and affiliate marketing in general since this past January. But, I can't tell myself that I don't know enough yet. That is de-motivating when I'm trying to write. I know enough to be able to share my story and motivate others!
What Is My Point To All Of This Rambling?
If you're still reading this - thank you! I do feel like I'm rambling a bit, but I'll still post this and not judge myself :). I'm so honored to be a part of the Super Affiliate Challenge. As part of the challenge, one of the tasks is to share content, like this post, here on WA.
When I first started with WA, I didn't understand why I would need to have a blog here as opposed to just writing content on my site. If you're new to WA and don't understand - here's why! This platform is PO-WER-FULL! Not only are you helping others here at WA that may have the same questions you do, but WA is an authority site. That means this content is ranked in the search engines and can help others outside of WA learn about the power of the program. Too cool!
I Did It!
I didn't overanalyze every sentence, which would cause me to freeze and stop. I just kept on typin'! I started this post roughly 5 minutes ago and I'm to the end and ready to share it. I will spell check first though!! :) Thanks for reading!

I know just how you feel. We all experience our 'druthers' as my mother used to say.
Keep on posting. If spell check misses a word here or there, I bet we can figure out what you meant.

Writing a blog is everyone’s nightmare. Sometimes my ideas flow and sometimes my brain freezes. At that moment I close my laptop and do something else like making a cup of tea ☕️ or pulling out weeds for 20 minutes. After that I am ready to go

Sometimes I have a burst of ideas flowing through my mind by just walking outside, thinking about my current situation and optimistically know it'll get better if I write more content. I also think about my audience. I may be writing the content, but my purpose is to serve others, So these are some the motivation tips I use.
Those are great tips! I seem to get the best ideas when I'm out for walks too :) I have to stop and add a note to my phone so I don't forget lol

Keep at it... it gets easier. There will be days when I can’t think of anything to write. My go to motivator is a walk around a beautiful ‘man made’ lake near our place.
