To Blog or Not to Blog Is it that Important
In the beginning there is always a question about blogging here at WA. I know at first I really didn't care about it. In time I learned that if you strive to help others through your blogging efforts you grow in your writing abilities and your knowledge of Successful Website creation.
Blogging helps you build your writing skills. Unless you are a professional writer to start with you will struggle. Learning how to write a successful blog gives you a needed skill, especially in the online marketplace.
Blogging helps you understand how others relate to the issues you are writing about. When you get a huge response you too have learned what people like and don't like.
Blogging is a way to share your progress, especially your successes. It helps others know that the WA program works
Blogging builds community because you share your ups and downs. And you learn that other people here care about your success.
I did not think Blogging was that important at first but I have learned it does help on your journey to success.
If you haven't started blogging yet, that's OK. Take some time out of your busy schedule and read the blogs that inspire you, connect with you, or look interesting.
And when you have read something that is helpful or inspiring, let that person know how it helps you. They need feedback ~ they need to know that they are helping someone else.
Then when you feel inspired, share your journey, share your struggles, or share what you are up to lately. If it is written out of a desire to help others what you have to say is important.
Blogs do not have to be long they just need to connect with the felt needs of others.
Responding to Blogs builds community and builds each other up. We are all here struggling with whatever situation we have and it helps to know that you are part of something bigger than yourself.
And, let me be the first to confess that I do not blog as much as I think I should. Be better than me. There are so many awesome writers here that I always feel a little out of my league. But unless we share with one another we will never grow as writers, and that is what I am inspiring to be, Lord willing.

The pleasure of writing comes in writing. There will always be someone to appreciate what we have to share. In Switzerland there is a saying that says "It is by forging that you become a blacksmith" which means "Practice makes perfect". So don't stop writing to become full blogger.

Yes Ray this helps me a lot, when I was new here at WA, I felt a bit weird blogging because I thought I had nothing useful to share, I still feel like that sometimes but as you mentioned, blogging here at WA helps with writing skills.
I find when I am blogging here, I am relaxed because I don’t have to worry about keywords and the other things we have to worry about when writing a post for our website.
SoI do enjoy blogging here even though sometimes I feel like people might not get what I am trying to say.
I have to say, I think my blog posts are getting better now well, at least I hope they are.

First of all, your writing is just fine. Secondly, these are excellent points you've shared. Third, look at what you have learned about blogging. Now you realize it is an important part of the online world, and somewhere along the line it must have improved your writing, as I don't see that it is bad at all.

Sometimes blogging helps you let off steam, but one of the most important facts is it drives traffic to your website when done properly.
