Welcome 2016! Time to Put the Pedal to the Metal!

Hey everyone!

For my first blog post, I'd like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and SUCCESSFUL new year for 2016!

I signed up as a premium member this past Black Friday and spent the last weeks going through the core training, several members' training, and generally getting accustomed to everything.

Now with the start of 2016, I'm finally ready to put what I've learned into action.

I love Wealthy Affiliate and feel good about promoting it to others looking to make an online income. But instead of focusing on the "make money online" niche, I plan to promote WA specifically to disabled people (I'm one myself…) In other words, I'm venturing into the disability niche.

In January, I plan to do the following:

• Pick domain name
• Register domain
• Set up site
  • Hosting on WA
  • Customize WP theme
  • Install plugins
  • Set up email accounts
  • Create basic pages (About, Contact, etc.)
• Create sitemap
• Submit site to Google/Bing webmaster tools
• Set up Google Analytics account / Clicky
• Set up Google Alerts
• Set up Gravatar
• Set up social sharing pages
  • Facebook page
  • Twitter page
  • Google+ page
  • Pinterest page
  • YouTube Channel
• Start to add followers to each of the social media channels
• Create custom WA sign-up page
• Create automated messages for WA referrals
• Post first few articles
• Post WA review

I've set up several sites before so I'm pretty familiar with the process.

Additionally, I want to start blogging at WA regularly and commit to learning something new for 30 minutes per day (there’s A LOT of training here after all!)
