What is a Friend?
When I was young I thought friends were those people in your life who show up and ask for things and when they are in trouble you would sense it and call them up and they'd be so glad and say something like: "Girl, how did you know I really needed this" and they'd spill the beans of what they were dealing with and you'd stand in the gap for them hoping that they would do the same for you one day. Most of the time these lovely people just left you in peace which is really great for an introverted recluse like myself.
I did notice that these wonderful friends of mine never seemed to sense when I needed a hand so I had to face my deepest dark nights on my own, it is normal to sense when your friends need a hand right? I thought it was... Maybe it isn't. Please share your thoughts here...

Years have passed, now I am in my twilight years and I am beginning to think that a real friend is the one who shows up and annoys the heck out of you because they just won't leave you alone. They keep showing up and getting you to do things you would not normally do on your own. They keep showing up even when you tell them you don't want them in your life. They challenge your comfort zones and pester you even when you make excuses about being busy, but then you notice that you are always laughing and having fun when they are around even if it is strange unfamiliar stuff that you are doing, yet it is fun.
When this friend or friends happen to not be around, you actually miss them andfind yourself blatantly grinning at the thought of them. Do you have a friend or friends like that? It could even be Business Associates...
Maybe a friend is not someone who is like-minded or someone who is into all the things we like and are comfortable with... Perhaps a real friend is that someone who stretches us to be who we are "Not" in order to discover or be who we really are beyond our conscious understanding... Does that make sense...? What are your thoughts?
Thank you so much for reading my two- line post, please share your thoughts and likes if you do. I wish you Massive Success and Prosperity in all your Ventures
