What's up everyone, I hope you are all being as productive as you'd like to be!

I wanted to give you guys a quick tell on how it's going for me, and hopefully, I can inspire some people to keep going.

In 10 days I have been a premium member for three months! Is it just me, or does time seem to go faster when you're having fun and being productive?

I can't fathom all the knowledge that I have now, which was non-existent three months ago. What happens after six months, 12 months?

What I have done so far for myself...

  • I have created my first website. I have done without a theme template and build the design from the bottom up.
  • I have made three post and three reviews (6 posts), which all have some way of making revenue.
  • I have 11 pages of text, which is the foundation of the structure of my site
  • All of my pages and posts are in the green with Yoast, meaning they are SEO friendly
  • I understand much better my role in all this, and which opportunities learning these principles will give me.

Some of you might think, six posts and 11 pages in 3 months! Man, I'm doing six posts every second week. And you're right!

The truth is that I have been feeling a bit clunky about posting, and every beginning of a post have been an internal battle for me. All the things in the world to distract and postpone, and every post taking longer than the previous to write. Damn - it's hard work to write so much because you have to put so much thought into what you're writing since:

Posting stuff has to solve other people's problems!

So I am not just trying to think of something to write - it also has to address a problem that my customers might have, and solve it! It has taken some time for me getting used to thinking this way, without it being a disorganized mess of words.

The wild thing!

Posting is feeling more natural and speedy for every sentence I write. It has been a long and bumpy ride becoming comfortable with the things I've been writing, but I feel it in my thought process, my speed, and I can see it in the quality of my posts. For every post, they are getting better!

I have begun to enjoy myself while writing, and I'm thinking about things I can write, sentences to use, whenever I drive to work and go about my day to day stuff.

For the curious reader! The current state of my website: http://3dprintstoday.com

Now comes a whole new thing that I have not given much thought yet; GOALS. I think goal-setting can be a powerful tool and keep you on track, so here goes.

In 3 months I have:

  1. Made my first commission on Amazon
  2. Completed the Get Started training course
  3. Gotten 500 followers and followed 500 people

I realize this is a bit of a conservative set of goals, and if I finish them before time, I'll set some new right away.

Quick Summary

  • If you have a hard time writing posts, just keep at it - For me, it's starting to become an addiction, a fun and productive addiction which is healthy for my business. Yes. I couldn't believe it either.
  • Writing a lot of posts is important. On the flipside, if you don't know why you're writing, to whom, and how your words will be useful to others, you might be able to optimize your writing habits. Use the next couple of hours, which you would typically use to write a post, to think about this.
  • Goal-setting is a great tool in your tool box, but anything that gives you direction, ambition and blood on your teeth will work.

What did you do with your first three months?
