You are probably getting the idea now that this is a process.
You choose a niche, find keywords for a post, write posts, publish them and then search engines crawl your published content and then visitor find your posts in search results presented by search engines based on how they ranked your posts and how it relates to the search.

If you wrote your post in site content and "published" it the search engines know about it. it may take some time for them to crawl it and index and rank it, but they will. Like Joe said you will get an email notification from WA when it is indexed if you published it from Site Content. We just saw a blog from someone today they had over 30 blogs waiting for indexing and today the search engines indexed and ranked them all. Sometimes it takes a little white before the search engines index and rank,
