Separating Truth from Fact for Growth
Champions know that there is a difference between Truth and Fact. Fact is Reality, truth is our perception of reality and perceptions are subjective. One might look at taking an ice cold shower for 20 minutes as painful and another might look at it as growth. Both are true in the mind of the individuals perception.
Having a mindset aimed towards growth understands the subconcious can be programmed with truth. Since the subconcious is unable to make the distinction between truth and fact, Champions program thier subconcious minds to believe thier vision, dreams and ideas as truths.
Because the subconcious doesn't have the ability to reject an idea, it accepts it as truth and begins to create new behaviors that are in harmony with this new truth. Your concious mind know that this truth is not fact creating cognitive dissonace between your concious and subconcious and as a result creates harmony.
Champions understand how to use both to get what they want. Your cold, tired and about to do and intense exercise for 45 minutes, ask yourself are you really tired and cold, is this fact?
