A Message To All Military Veterans...Thank You
Hello WA Community,
Today is Veterans Day. I just want to take the time to thank all veterans past or present for your commitment and sacrifice. I realize that you all do not get the recognition that you deserve. Today is your day. Everybody at WA salutes you (or at least I do). My Great Uncle fought in the Korean War. My Uncle fought in the Vietnam War. My Grandfather fought in World War 2. My Great Great Grandfather fought in the Civil War. If you are a veteran, place a comment below to let the community know what branch of the military you serve or served in. Whoo Rah! Semper Fi!

8years , Army ! It was a pleasure to service , and more so to see every member here at WA , fighting for more freedom..
Thanks for the comment. I was going to join the USMC back in the nineties after graduating from high school, but decided to go to college instead.
I want to add my thank you to our veterans as well. We just attended the service here. The kids always come to support their grandpa. Thanks for your tribute.
Thank You Veterans for your Service to Our Country. We are Eternally Grateful and we can never pay back all that You have given us. We have a long history of military service in my family too. The latest being my nephew who spent 2 years in Afghanistan. God Bless You All!
Today in Canada we observed 2 minutes of silence at the 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in honour of our fallen brothers and sisters from WW1, WW2, Korea, Bosnia, and Afghanistan. And we salute those who serve us today.
Absolutely. I have a friend who just returned from a tour in Afghanistan. He was wounded (caught some shrapnel from a IED in the back). He is okay though, it was not life threatening. We will be hanging out later this evening after he gets settled in and spends time with family.
