I Was Busy (For Nearly 730 Days)

We never know what will happen to us, and I have always believed in flexibility in living life. It has been nearly two (2) years since I wrote my last blog, posted on my personnel website. Recently I have felt the need to schedule some time each day to work on goals I set a few years ago with Wealthy Affiliate (WA), so here I am.
I joined Wealthy Affiliate a few years ago when my professional life fell apart with a personnel goal to prepare a website based side gig to offset the income loss I experienced and position myself for my autumn years. I was digging deep into WA when I was approached by IBM to work for them developing and selling global & US domestic third-party service solutions, and I would have been crazy to say no.
For nearly two (2) years, I was a busy beaver developing, selling, and implementing service solutions for IBM and our customers. It became apparent that IBM had an identity crisis making this opportunity short-term, so I started looking for other options.

I successfully found unique operational management opportunities in the tech sector and wholesale distribution. I decided to join a family-owned company that supported the trailer part wholesale part distribution market versus a bit-coin ATM company, and believe I made the correct decision to this date.
For the last year, I have traveled between twenty (20) branches in the US doing those operational functions before, during, and on the pandemic's downward side (we hope). I have worked with locations to increase our ability to meet our mission statement, upgrade our resource capabilities, and hopefully have some fun when at work.
The pandemic turned our world upside down like I am sure it has yours. We are essential due to transportation equipment support, so we have been there when we lost branch personnel (and entire branches) due to the pandemic, had to find ways around supply chain issues, etc.
Through all of this excitement, I have concentrated on my work priorities versus priorities I set for myself three (3) years ago, with one of them being WA. So, here I am sitting in Boise, Idaho, near a branch that requires my assistance with a plan to dedicate some time each day to my WA goal, so I am more accomplished.
I miss the blogs, looking at your websites, working on my website, and learning how to be successful if I apply the same dedication at WA that I have in my historical career. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and I look forward to rekindling old relationships and building new ones. J
