Socially Acceptable.
I have been working online now for a couple of years now. In the beginning all that I was thinking about is how can I make money online. I guess this is pretty normal for a newbie, after awhile I had enough experience with what has not worked at all for me and that I had spent money and wasted a lot of my time on programs,safelists and countless other traffic producing programs that got me nowhere in the way of either signups or any king of living for my family. Sound familiar, anyway after a while I did learn the biggest lesson there is to learn and that is that the people on line are no different than people you meet on the street. If you want to do business with them you need to make them a friend someone they can trust, the better you are at that the better you will be at doing business with them.
Social networks such as this one,facebook,twitter.linkedin.and countless others out there are all wonderful places to meet new friends and socialize with them, obviously no one would have the time to be a member of all of them, therefore you pick two or three of them and make them your own, another thing Iv learned with them is to use the ones that have groups and find the groups that are in your niche, and also make sure the group you are looking at is a busy one, you don't want to be wasting you time in an inactive group even if it is in your niche.
In my opinion the social networks are the way to grow your business over the long term, you do have to spend some time in them getting to know people and what they are all about and what they are looking for, never try to sell anything to anyone until you know what they are looking for. and even then try to get them to ask you for your suggestions in this matter.
The reason that this post came to be is that along with the excellent training within Wealthy Affiliates I also came across two other sites with excellent articles and links to social media sites and suggestions and I wanted to share it with everyone here that may be interested.

I think it's a shame that so many members don't realize how much help is available and give up. With all the training and offers of help there available here at WA There shouldn't be one member that doesn't have at lest one website or blog published. I just don't understand?

Excellent commentary struter! I completely agree with not trying to sell something to someone you just met until they ask you for that info. The concept behind attraction marketing positions you as an expert in your niche, which "attracts" others in that same niche. Great job struter!
