Keep Looking Forward

I just want to share something about my decisions. Today, I had a job opportunity. It offers an average pay. It is very tempting to grab it and easily get paid month by month with a salary that could make ends meet. However, the let down is that I could work for around 8hrs a day for it plus around an hour or two for commute. That would take out much of my time from working on my site and learning in WA.

Thinking about it, it is really a matter of what goal to pursue. My goal is to have a successful business while enjoying the work. Besides that, I still have to take care of my son. That is why I came up with the decision to turn down the job opportunity. Right now, I want to focus on my goals and keep looking forward. I really need to do something while I still can. Well, that's just me. :)

Anyways, I hope everyone is doing great today. All the best to everyone!

To be honest with you, if I could find a job near me and if my Mom's mind wasn't so iffy, I'd go back to work for awhile, but it just isn't feasible. Most days my Mom thinks clearly for the most part, but then a day like today creeps up and she is so confused I can't imagine what the day would hold if someone wasn't here to steer her in the right directions. Don't get me wrong-I hate working for a living. I want to wake up, have some coffee, read some email and mosey on down to the dock to take a nap in the hammock. If you can afford to do it your way, hats off to ya. I wish you all the luck and success in the world.

I just pass on this particular job because it wasn't for me at the moment. I want to reach my goals and besides that I have a toddler. But if the right job comes along that will even help me with my goals, why not. All the best to you too.

Thanks for sharing. Your dedication is inspiring. I'm in a similar position. I have always had a full time job while trying to get my online business off the ground. I've been struggling with the decision to keep my job until I achieve some modest success online, or quit so I can dedicate myself completely to it... As of now though still working.

It really depends on where we are at this moment. I totally understand you. I am currently not working so I guess that made it easier.
