This pup and I can relate...

Because, this isn't the first time I've sniffed around online marketing.

Like the dog, I am skeptical. There are so many fakes and look-a-likes out there, I just don't know what is real and what isn't.

I wanted to venture into online business, but I lacked knowledge and conifidence.

However, I was always thinking about blogging this or that, or designing a website around one thing or the other. I wanted to learn, but never felt comfortable with various programs and platforms I came across.

Enter Wealthy Affliate.

At the moment, I'm about two weeks into WA and onto the second phase of the training. I'm surprised at what I've accomplished so far. Albeit, the first two phases aren't technically challenging (I'm closer to luddite than technophile) and the lesson plans are well laid out.

I am very impressed at the quality and value of WA.

Honestly, at this point the only hang-up I can forsee coming myway is ME. And, that's where other platforms and "self-directed, independent learning" fall off the rails; I'd be left relying on myself!

Checklist + Community

Nothing like a checklist to get things done!

I think it was mere moments after the first writtem language was created that someone was given a checklist (punishable by death if not completed).

I love that every course module has a checklist. Each step laid out; one after the other. For myself, it's more of a 'anti-procrastination' list. I know myself pretty well now, and I need to be kept on track and I'm not great at doing it myself!

But, there's more than just great training with checklists at WA...

My favourite part about WA??

I'm never on my own!

If I have a problem or some difficulty, there's members out there to help. Every time I look over the posts from folks asking and responding to issues I'm amazed. Always supportive and empathetic; I've yet read an unkind word.

Between the community, Kyle and Carson, and the process behind each lesson, I'd really have to try in order to fail.

You're only on your own if you choose to isolate yourself.

WA is the rock to build empires upon. It gives me that 'sure-footed' feeling to keep moving forward. The community here at WA is truly magnificient!

So take care, trust WA, trust yourself, and most importantly: work hard!

Steve

Congrats man and keep it up.

Thanks, man!

First of all, Congratulation on your first post here in WA.

It's a great post people like me can relate to. I have been start online marketing from 2009. Created my starter account in 2014 and repented my sin of chasing every shiny object offered in my inbox to become a Premium in Nov2017. There is nothing like WA out there (my opinion).

Wishing you a great success here in WA Steve.

Joe

Thanks Joe,

I spent too much time chasing shiny things as well, lol.

Best,
Steve
