So, guys.

How did you personally find out about WA?

I was searching for ways to make money online a few weeks ago and stumbled across a blog post. I then monitore

google search making money online

I wonder how many times all of us here have typed that exact phrase into google?

I imagine that keyword term has a LOT of competition lol.

Good luck my friend, thank you for your answer :D

Researched in the web...

Yes, the general consensus of most here I expect.

It's hard to imagine that there was a time when we didn't have the internet to refer to for anything.

But of course, that is kinda the whole point of all of us being here I guess :D

Hope you are having a great day Arthur : )

From what I've read, affiliate marketing is the best way to get started in an online business. When I started my search, I wasn't totally sure about what I was looking for. But then I came across this website -- One More Cup of Coffee -- whose owner is Nathaniell, who just happens to be in Wealthy Affiliate (I believe he's #22 in the WA rankings). As I scanned the site, the more I saw, the more I like. That's what brought me to this community.

Hey Craig, thanks for sharing the story of how we are so lucky to have you here.

Small world, I too, chose Nathaniell to be my mentor.

We are the lucky ones who made it here, now we have a chance to do something wonderful.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all the success in the world, I hope your journey is a magnificent one :D

I was looking for an affordable education to build a website. First I searched in the Netherlands, but I couldn't afford the high-priced courses. By accident, I found a blog about Wealthy Affiliate and an ad with "Build your website for free and get help" I could afford that and I needed help!

I was (and remain) absolutely staggered at the sheer level of training here, I believed the training would have been a few rushed, poor quality videos after all how good could they be if you can join free I thought...

Oh man! How wrong I was.

Happily :)

Yes WA is unique and awesome

Yup, same way. Found a post by a member that instilled trust in the platform.

The rest as they say...is history.

We are truly the lucky ones. :)

So do any of the more successful, established members have any top tips or golden pearls of wisdom to help myself and some of the newer members who fear it's deadly arrival.

I break the job up into smaller parts, then do each one per a plan, you'll find once you start you will keep going.
V/R Pete

That's a nice method for painlessly breaking yourself into the act of being a planner too and I imagine that eventually, it leads to you being a

"follow througher"

Grammatically appalling, but I definitely wanna be one of those!

Thanks for your perspective, I appreciate it.

The very best of luck to you and your amazing journey :D

Set a plan each day and follow it!

Simple, classic and true.

As Jim Rohn once said

"There are no new fundamentals"

Everybody knows the old adage...

"If you fail to plan then you plan to fail"

Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated as ever, best wishes Arthur : )

Even in the age of Digital this and that, it's STILL a good idea to involve a notebook (the kind with REAL paper in it) and a pen to physically write down your goals for the next day, week, month, year, etc. Somehow, your heart is attached to the physical act of writing it down so U can THINK about the order of goals, imagine accomplishing them them in your mind and, being prepared to put a number next to each one so U can figure out the order in which to proceed. Put THAT on your night stand and open it each day before doubt or procrastination have a chance to lurk. This can become habit as U accomplish more of what's on the list. We will then be motivated to comprise the next list for the next string of successes.

Thank you for sharing your ideas.

I wish you could see the paper lists on my desk (not at all organised I freely admit)

But I do agree that a list of your goals is essentially your personal roadmap.

To be brutally honest, you have spurred me on to revisit my goals and reorder, rephrase, update them.

Have an amazing day, thanks for the update.

May your personal journey be fun, fulfilling and also filled with fortune :D

I'm in the process of doing them when I stopped to comment on this post! I managed to motivate myself by taking the advice I'm giving. A notebook definitely helps keep all the ideas together. Have a wonderful day yourself and without fun, what's the point anyway? :D

My advice is to listen to YouTube Motivation in the morning and write goals a night and morning then take action daily

Nice Frankie, I'm a massive fan of goals too.

Have an awesome journey man, hope you achieve every last one of those goals...and then set more of course :D

True indeed likewise

By the way, your credit repair lessons, AMAZING!

Favourited. :D

Thank you I really appreciate that. I really care about peoples financial conditions so I am going to create these lessons for the people who can't afford to pay for services but who are willing to learn and practice with their own credit profile. I will be placing second lesson this weekend and see how that go with my followers so stay tune in and I will do the same Peace

Hi does anybody know a legal and legitimate way for under 18's to make commissions that they will actually be paid for.

Paypal requires you be 18 to register and setup a

Anyone under 18 can do anything (usually) with the permission or help of their parents. An adult could create a second PP account and have their child manage it. Affiliate programs would be the same!

Thankyou very much Nathaniell, helpful as ever and truly indicative of the spirit of this wonderful community :D

Why not?

My sentiments exactly : )

Hope you're having a great day.

There are people here who are earning and below age 18. I remember RichSnafu ( a member here at WA) mentioned someone in the U.K. who is making a few hundred a month. You may check with him.

Cheers.

Very helpful, thankyou so much.

Have an amazing day : )

As far as I know, there is no age limit, but that can be various for some affiliate companies

Thanks Loes, lovely to cross paths with you again, Happy sunday :D

Nice to see you again too, they perhaps have to work through the Paypal account of their parents, have a nice Sunday too
