Introducing me - For better or for worse LOL
Hello WA community. My name is Steven and I am embarking on this success journey with zero experience, few relevant skills, terrible punctuation and I feel almost permanently lost in my learning...
And I couldn't be HAPPIER!
What's that you say Dear reader? Crazy? Nope...
I have learned amazingly fast that the community here "has my back".
When any of us get stuck or run out of ideas on where to go next or what to do next, somebody is there (usually multiple somebody's) with an answer, a hint, a tip or a trick and off we go to chug along for another day (or maybe just an hour or so till the next mini-crisis)
After day 1 I realised that I simply had to go premium for multiple reasons, I also realised that I wasn't going to turn over £20 million this month by simply clicking a few buttons, hitting the spacebar and howling at the moon.
But everyday i am faced with stories, testimonials and success posts that leave me in no doubt that following the training, implementing the ideas and strategies shared here and working towards my desired outcomes whilst managing my expectations I WILL SUCCEED!
I am an ordinary guy who works extraordinarily hard for mediocre pay that in no way reflects how helpful I am to my colleagues, my company and in no way rewards or even casts a nod towards how often I go the extra mile.
I guess I am just like many, many of us here in that I have always known that there is a better way for nice guys to NOT finish last, a place where effort is rewarded and talent although limited in the beginning is recognised and even celebrated. I believe there is a place where people spur each other on especially on the "down days" and a place in which people are ACTUALLY happy to see each other reach new levels of success.
Now I know this to be true as I am HERE!
I believe that being a part of this thriving, lively amazingly helpful community I will begin to see the better life I envisage come to fruition. I want to earn enough not to need to work long soul destroying twelve hour shifts and to ensure that my lovely partner and my fantastic Daughters begin to have choices, where we shop, where we eat, where we holiday (many times the question has been IF we holiday and most years we didn't)
I am reminded about something that I posted on my profile yesterday, I will copy it here in order to explain my current mindset
"Ultimately I want security and freedom for me and mine and to be able to offer my partner and my daughters choices, I see a simple equation in my head...
MONEY=CHOICES (and a healthy dash of personal freedom)
I'm not money obsessed, far from it and I don't believe money is everything, we all know far better, right?
But to deny it's importance when the alarm goes off at 5.30am to signify the start of twelve hours of drudgery, that would simply be denial, I must learn to be the most productive, structured organised man I can be...I have not fared well in this regard thus far in my life LOL."
I see WA as an enormous cruise ship, we are all passengers heading to the same destination, we are all there to lend a hand to each other, occasionally some will jump ship for a shiny new cruise ship that is yet to be proven. Othere will occasionally jump out at port to recommence their journey a little later, (life does that to us from time to time) and some will simply use a rowboat to get their in their own time and under their own steam.
I AM going to get there and I absolutely implore you to get their too as I believe we will feel so liberated and exhilarated that we did it ourselves instead of waiting for a lottery win or inheritance from long lost Uncle Augustus.
Even though we will have done it under our own steam we will also have achieved it together by virtue of help, support and at times picking one another up and carrying each other a little bit closer to the finish line, after all success and fortune is pretty damn hollow and meaningless when you only have yourself to share it with, right?
Onwards and upwards everyone, here's to an interesting, fun packed, exciting journey to success and the life we deserve :D

You have just the right attitude Steven and I like what you said on your profile about luck. Yes there are a few people that have hit it really lucky with making money online and put in hardly any effort to fly with it... but mostly you have to actually knuckle down and put the work in.

Thankyou so much for your lovely commens Lynne, they are truly important in the early days I believe they can be the difference between working through an annoying techy problem thats been taunting us for 48 hours or hiding in the wardrobe and wishing for Narnia to appear
I was struck by a lightning bolt (not literally of course LOL) when I read how you chose your niches for your websites, simple, obvious and "why the hell am i complicating things" And even though I say it's simple...its also genius : ).
I am sure we will cross paths through the years and I'm extremely grateful of your offer of assistance.

It is a pleasure Steven :) Um yeah 48 hours? I have struggled with some problems for weeks hahaha...but I kept at it and everything always comes right.
I have had frustrations beyond belief, but the rewards are great when they come!
Yes the niche thing is actually so easy. For your first website if I ask you what excites you the most, that is your niche... simple.
So many people complicate it and get into a knot but just go with your gut when you think of what you are passionate about.
Who knows you may even leave your first website to start something else and that may feel like a failure, but it is not because everything you have learned in that process you take with you.
A lot of people laugh when they ask me a question and I reply that I don't know the answer how to do it, but I know 100 ways how NOT to do it. That is also experience :)
