Failure is a Learning Tool
Failure really isn't or doesn't have to be actual FAILURE if you put a positive spin on the experience. Try to look at it as a chance to learn and correct what you believed you failed at.
Whether it is ,cooking,weight lifting, singing, writing,.....whatever it is that you fell short of or didn't live up to, investigate why it wasn't quite perfect and make the necessary corrections so that the next attempt will be on course for perfection, or close to it.
Perfection is Attainable
All things are divinely evolving, ....stage after stage untill it reaches its eventual perfection. Just look at how technology has evolved over the past decade. innovation after innovation has produced awesome advances in the modern quality of life. These advances come from the ever advancing thought processes of Men and Women the world over. This is because Man and Woman are the highest form of Creation, in fact, the Supreme Beings on the Earth.
Men and Women have the ability to bring their thoughts into reality(make the word flesh). No other creature has that ability. Everything we see was created by a Supreme Intelligence or else how could matter move itself? Mind and hands make and create and within the creative mind is the gradually evolving perfection desired.
Develope the Heart of a Champion
What separates a true champion from the mediocre is the development of an attitude of correcting mistakes instead of sinking into self pitty. A champion's mind is centered on how to perfect the technique to get the win and keep winning. A champion looks at what went wrong ,studies why it went wrong then sets out to not to let it happen the same way again as it did in the first place. They don't hang their head, they lift it high with the thought that if they hadn't experienced the set back, how would they know what to expect down the road. So don't allow a failure defeat you , use it as a tool to fix what was temporarily broken and continue to proceed, progress ,and perfect yourself.
