Self Doubt
So here I am at Wealthy Affiliate, working through the lessons & enjoying the process all the way so far. There is only one thing holding me back "Self Doubt". I'm sure I am not the first or last person here to experience this feeling. The questions that keep going through my mind. "Am I starting with the correct niche?", "What If I can't create good content?", "What if this fails?"......... on and on, the questions keep coming to the doubtful mind.
In my experience in other fields, you can only move forward after you have addressed those questions that create the doubt. Ask yourself those very questions and answer them.
So what if the niche you have chosen Isn't the best, it is a starting point & a good place to learn.
Content? Ok so we're not all skilled writers, and I'm sure this is a difficult area for many people starting out, but with the level of support her at WA & the endless sites created by members, there is no limit to the resources for learning & improving our own content.
If our site fails? what's the worst thing that could happen? Ask for advice, keep improving, change our focus to work within a new niche if needed.
I think one very important aspect is each Individual's desire to succeed. If you have the desire, you just need to add the appropriate level of commitment. As with any business, it takes time and work to create a success. So although those doubts will naturally come to mind, It is what we do to work past them that will bring about the results we want.
Those who never failed, never succeeded.
So now that I have addressed my own doubts to this point, it's time to push on toward success !
Remember - It is our present thoughts that determine our future.

Thanks Guys. I wasn't planning on blogging just yet, but I had just reached this point where I really was having these doubts and had to do something to get myself moving. I think blogging is a useful tool to express your thoughts & get good feedback.
Hi steve, don't beat yourself up. I restarted with a totally new site in December and I now feel that I am going from strength to strength. Sometimes, it takes a step back to see what you are doing and whether it is right for you.
Learning and developing a niche is not easy if you have never done either before so my advice is take a step back, assess the situation and take it from there.

I know exatcly what you mean with self-doubt as we have all been there at some point. As long as we follow the training, implement it and maintain "self-belief" all the way through, then we will succeed online without a doubt :)
