First organic sale!
Okay, so I made my first organic sale! It's weird, though. I'm not sure where it came from. I've been running a Bing ad campaign for a product review I did, and I think maybe that's where it happened. I've gotten some social traffic, too, so it could be that.
Anyway, I was looking at my Amazon stats, and I saw a fee earned from a few days ago - a whopping $0.58!! I was happy, though, because of how it happened. The product sold was related to the product I'm selling, but it wasn't the actual product.
What that tells me is that even if the prospect is not ready to buy, as long as they get that Amazon cookie logged (and don't go back through another person's aff link), you'll get a commish if they buy anything.
So ultimately, our main goal is just to get people to click into Amazon. It would be nice if they bought what we were selling, but hey, as long as they buy something, it's all good. Now, I know you all know that already, but my post is really just to show how powerful all this can get. Even if you can't sell well (keep working on that copywriting!), as long as you can get someone to CLICK, you're setting yourself up for good things to happen.
Now let's just get more content out there so we can get more of those clicks!
