Okay, let's say I set my main affiliate link (using it raw, cloaked, or redirected) to open in a new tab and it's opened in Chrome. Then let's say that person's Chrome has an

Don't use that code. Click on the black and white airplane icon and get the raw code and use Pretty Links.

Yeah, I'm using the raw code with ClickMagick, I've tried it with Bit.ly, and I've tried it raw. It happens every time. And again, it's ONLY the main page link. I just don't understand it. I really do want to send folks to the main page from my pre-sell page.

Have you tried it with Pretty Links? It works even with an ad-blocker. And Pretty Links count the clicks for you.

Just tried. Same problem, even with all 3 types of redirects. :-/
I've used Pretty Links before. I like ClickMagick better, though, because the data is far more reliable. But it does cost $17/mo.

You may need to flush your DNS or clear your browser's cache because it works for me even with the ad-blocker on https://marionblackonline.com/wa-main

Well, that's good to know. Are you using Chrome?

Yes. It was working before but not now. But if I right-click and open in an incognito window it works. Something weird is going on.

Using the other links I've set up work but not to the main page at WA.
https://marionblackonline.com/best-online

Exactly. It's just the primary affiliate link. All the other ones work fine. It's weird.

I guess I could not open in a new tab, but rather go directly to the page, but I don't want them to lose their place.

Hey Steve,

Here's a Google search result you may want to peruse: http://bit.ly/2xAfcMB in finding an answer. My only concern is would using such a plugin get your Amazon affiliate account shut down.

Hope this helps you.

Great info on the 90 day cookie... definitely saving the code to make my own shopping cart icon/banner!

Thank ya'!

Glad this helped you, and Thank YOU for letting me know. :-))

Anyone seen this and fixed it? How did you do it? I read something about migrating to HTTP/2 to solve this issue. Is that something that is happening with WA hosted sites?</

where are getting this error message from?

Hey Steve,

If you want to know more about this issue, you might find the following post most helpful: https://gtmetrix.com/parallelize-downloads-across-hostnames.html

It truly sounds like your website needs optimizing first.

Yeah, I've optimized already and I'm even using Site Speed. This is a recent development. The solutions also don't work with sites hosted here. :-/

And you have contacted support regarding this issue?

I have, and they told me a couple of things I could do with my images. It helped some, but there are still a couple of things I can still do.

Soooo ... you have yet to fully optimize your site then ... do I understand correctly?

I have optimized the best I know how (or knew about). The other things I can do have to do with html rendering and what gets processed first. It apparently has to do with the coding, but in the meantime, I'm looking for a plugin that can help. Otherwise, I've done all the image optimization and external CSS and JS minifying, etc.

...more plugins ... less speed.
I'd like to offer you a few suggested articles for you to read that you may gain advantage from:

Cool, thanks!

This is because web browsers are limited to the number of concurrent connections they can make to a host. This is mainly due to HTTP/1.1 in which browsers open on average 6 connections per hostname. This warning is typically seen on websites with a large number of requests. In the past, the only way to get around this limitation is to implement what they call domain sharding.

Who is hosting this site? SiteRubix Platform?

I guess. It's hosted here at WA, but it's not a SiteRubix site.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY....However, Carson refers to the entire hosting platform as SiteRubix and not ONLY the domain everyone builds a subdomain on SiteRubix.com

Argued for an hour over that.

So do you know anything about the hosting here? Are they on HTTP/1.1? If so, do you know anything about sharding?

No...Not SiteRubix and yes on Domain Sharing. Domain sharding is a technique used to increase the amount of simultaneously downloaded resources for a particular website by using multiple domains.

Contact Support and tell then you need your bandwidth increased or at least to move it to a different Server or position as you are too large and about to splinter.

Hmm. Okay, thanks for the tip. I'll contact support and see what I can get done!
