the Andy waldhem assessment
I have done some research and found this assessment.....
We must look at core strength as the ability to produce force with respect to core stability, which is the ability to control force we produce.
According th Andy waldhem in his assessment of core stability; developing practical modles, there are “5 different components of core stability; strenght, endurance, flexibility, motor control, and function” without motor control and function, the other 3 components are useless, like a fish floping out f water no matter how strong you are or how much endurance you have. it is first important to achieve core stability to protect the spine and surrounding musculature from injury in static and then dynamic movements. second,we want to effectively and efficiently transfer and produce force during dynamic movement while maintaining core stability.
This can include, running, performing Olympic lifts, or picking up a gallon of milk from far back in the fridge while keeping your back safe. research has shown that athletes with higher core stability have a lower risk of injury.

Core or upper body strength as I call it was always what I was able to use to lift more than a normal female could, of course by using legs and arms safely as to not injure myself.
Great post. :))
Yes, your spinal region is a very important factor when lifting anything, people who take their core forgranted suffer more with back pain and like you said you have found yourself stronger than some other females could. that's because your core is the Center of all exercise. Thanks for the message and continue looking after yourself.
Thanks Steve. I was one of 3 sisters growing up and the tom boy. Lots of years of working the garden, splitting and chopping wood and stacking. Always a good hard "core" work out...Lol...Nice job! :))
