Some of you may know that a couple of weeks ago my site developed a critical error. I was unable to save my old posts when editing with the block editor.

I put the question out to the WA community and recieved lots of answers but unfortunately nothing worked. So I had to go to SiteSupport and Kyle to try to get it sorted.

SiteSupport and Kyle fixed the error but I still couldn't save my posts with block editor. So now there is a bit of head scratching going on. To continue editing old posts I had to revert to the classic editor.

Then the unthinkable happened I was suddenly unable to edit new posts using the block editor

So again I put the question about classic editor plugins out to the community and recieved loads of replies. With these plugins I was able to nearly replicate my post designs. So thank you for all your help.

I also contacted SiteSupport and this time both Carson, Kyle and SiteSupport replied to me and they immediatly sprung into action to resolve the problem.

I was trying things at my end once again ending with no result. Until 1Rudy1 sent me a link for a possible fix

I tried 3 or 4 of the suggested fixes without a possitve result. Then one of the fixes was to check the Java Console for errors. And there it was !!!!

I immediatly informed SiteSupport and Carson on Saturday. Because this isn't something I could fix from this end. They went through the sever logs and yesterday the whole thing was resolved. My site is now working perfectly!!!

I have to say that I have had sites hosted by other companies. I have never had this kind of technical and community support before. To have the owners of the company wanting to resolve a problem for you is very refreshing.

Hey Steve,

I'm glad to hear that your site is functioning as it should with the ability to edit and publish content. It took us some time to correct things but after digging into this we found some incompatibilities with the themes and some server settings and made them play nice together. I appreciate your patience with the issue - these things can be very difficult to diagnose because there are so many factors involved with themes, plugins, server settings etc, but that's behind us now.

I'm glad to hear your technical issues got resolved via WA/SiteSupport. I'm not surprised they helped you out promptly.

That's what makes the WA platform unique from other places. I don't think you would've gotten that type of support through other hosting services.
