Trying to start an online marketing business is like running a marathon or swimming a long distance. Sure, there are talented distance swimmers and marathon runners, but how many of us can go those distances without training? That's what WA is about. I am happy to be a member of this supportive community.

I think that many people here (myself included) do not feel comfortable requesting help all the time, even when they know that it is more or less expected of them. It's also difficult to pace oneself and keep on track. So what can we do?

How about team learning and participation? What if some of us can decide to join together for a common project (helping individual team members with their work) and focus on specific tasks such as setting up web-sites, creating content, researching programs and products, SEO, etc.? For most of us, one or two of these tasks comes naturally and the rest are much more challenging. For example I am good at research, but find content creation more of a challenge, and I know virtually nothing about web-sites design and SEO. How about sharing our skills and pooling together our advantages? Kind of like an online barn raising.

Here is how such cooperation might work: Let's say 20 of us are working together as a team. Three of us agree to coordinate. A team of four or five people will work on particular project continuously for a few days and make significant progress. Then they will switch to helping with a different member's project.
