Not So Good News Monday.

The picture shold give you a good idea of some of my propblems. That is a picture of me sitting with my wife a bout five years back. The reason for my size is that I suffer from a very rare case of familial Cushings Disease, meaning mine is inherited and I've had it all of my life. And it was only recently that it has been treated exerimentally. The life expectancy for untreated Cushing's is five years or so and my parents were told not to expecft to see me survive childhood. But I did and I'm now 63 years old.

I went to one of my doctors on Monday and ended up with a referral to a plastic surgeon to see about taking that belly off because it is making another problem worse literally by the day. I was also told that after the plastic surgeons are done with me I will probably still haver to be recircumsized anyway, the increasing phimosis being the problem I went to him for in the first place. So, I'm not catching a break with my health problems these days. There are programs online of people going through the surgeries I'm looking at with the plastic surgeons. It's niether nice nor pretty, in fact it is dangerous and difficult. So, you can imagine I didn't get much of anything done the last few days after getting that news.
