If you are in isolation and/or working from home, you should have more time.

We all can put that to good use working on our business. Many have blogged on this as an excellent opportunity.

Let's face it, we were through this before... it is called motivation.

Having a treadmill in my house will not motivate me to exercise after the novelty wears off.

Some of you are at home fighting off Netflix, the couch, unhealthy snacks, reading fake and funny news and whatever else.

Resisting temptation and staying motivated will be a challenge as distraction and lethargy creeps in.

This is a short blog on, How to stay motivated?

I call it my One Minute Motivation Hack. We will start today with a simple hack on goals.

Just make sure your GOALS specify five things:

1. WHEN will you work on your goal (Set a specific time, 9AM Monday, Wednesday)

2. WHERE are you going to do it (The suitable place with no distraction)

3. HOW will you do it (All the tools and materials you need)

4. HOW LONG will you allocate to do it (Commit the duration, Eg. 3 hours in your calendar with item 1)

5. BACK-UP plan, in case any of the above fails (Any items with distractions, plan a backup, Eg. Another place if there is distraction)

Stay motivated and focus on ONE goal to accomplish this week.

Most seem to need the need to trick the mind and most do not need anything but a thought to take action. Get to work and train your mind and body to go like never before and get all done that you know needs to be addressed. Let's root them on and help push those that need us too.

Mindset is the first step to any change.

Exercise is valuable form of healthy living even when in lockdown. It is important enough value it right with your content writing and make it important enough to do it 5-6 times a week. If you put a television in front of your treadmill it takes some of the monotony out of it. I even have a bluetooth headset so that I don't bother other people. It works when it becomes a habit.

Good point. Exercise indoors. Motivate yourself to do it.

Love this and something that I do to keep things rolling. I find that making daily goals lead to much more productivity. I reset these every day and look at the past daily goals that I didn't accomplish and bring the ones that are necessary forward.

What I have found is sometimes the things we set as goals, are actually never needed in our business.

You are right. Need to constantly realign our goals to business results. It is not just about keeping busy.

Great questions Stanley.
