1st Real Comments - Now Questions
Yesterday, I posted some thoughts about Lupus and mosquitoes. Then I shared it with everyone I knew on Google+, and I even emailed it directly to a few circles. I was so surprised when I actually received comments and interest.
I guess I thought I would be bothering people if I sent them my blogs because I am the one who has Lupus. I didn't know other people would be so genuinely interested. Anyway, I was so excited responding to the comments, that today I feel a let down because I didn't post another blog. I am afraid to post a blog every day. I mean, I honestly think through what I want to say, and the mosquito blog was as honest as I get, so I don't want to just make up stuff to post. What is a good number of blogs per week? 2 maybe?
Do any of these questions make sense, or am I overthinking things again? Please help? Thanks! 😉

2 or 3 per week is usually enough to keep your followers interested and keep comments flowing so rankings stay higher. Once you get a larger following, you might could keep things going just from comments and one post weekly. You're doing great and I would just keep on keeping on!

Lucky you...you did a blog and got interesting response. It does not matter if you did two or more. At least you are creating awareness. Way to go.
I would think quality over quantity. So if you can do 2 or 3 quality content then go ahead. It's a lot of work to maintain. I think kennick2015 is right in tying your site to a fb group or other social media. keep up the good work!
I've just checked your site and for someone who only joined WA in August I think you've done an exceptional job. The information provided is first class so whatever you're doing, keep doing it! If you can write a couple of good posts a week it will keep your visitors coming back. Have you submitted your site to any social network sites? it could be useful for getting quality back links in your niche and generate more traffic over time. Good luck you're definitely on the right track.
Thank you! I am very excited about being here. I've learned so much in the short time I've been here. I hope I'm doing things right....
I have submitted a couple of posts to a Lupus community on Google+....so, maybe I can get some traffic there. MY uncle is always promoting it on Facebook, so I pretty well have that covered with him. Lol
I know of people posting 3 times a week, but it's difficult to keep up that pace of quality content. Some consider a standard amount of content is around 1500 words. If you can post any where near that amount 3 times a week, you'll be a superstar in no time. Congratulations and good luck.

I'd go with Ken, and add that you can certainly link up with websites and organisations that work with Lupus as well and ask them to link your site to them etc. Keep it up, you are cooking!
