I wonder....
What if instead of going so broad, you picked a more focused niche. Something like what's hot in gadgets?
Perhaps if you got even more focused like: What's hot in the world of sports fitness equipment (422 searches).
Then as you build out your first site, start on your second. Then as time allows maybe tie them all together with a general what's hot site.
Just an idea, but as Shawn stated, it's gonna take some time, but at least you can break it up, get started now, have some early successes, and then you can also get a feel for the amount of work you'll be subject to.
I like that idea, I do. Build your own network of individual sites that stand alone, and at the same time build the what's hot and trending site and cover the items that are hot and trending that your offer on your own network of individual sites, hmmm......
Thanks for your feedback James!
I have considered this - I have thought about a focus on fitness gadgets - Like Fitness Trackers etc. But I keep getting pulled to the whole Thing!
Its a real battle with me at the mo....
I have seen this suggested in other areas before and I am of the opinion it could work, but it would be a labor of love for a while. That meaning a ton of work to build a following to make it profitable. That being said, I am going to join this thread to hear others opinions. Sorry I could not give a better opinion :)
Thanks for your feedback Shawn :)
I have always had this 'vision' of it being mad crazy and popular - But whether WA is the place to do it, I am not sure.
I'll wait to hear others opnions too :)

I'm sure that you can create a niche about current trends. Perhaps you do trends about clothes or something along those lines.

I may just have my xmas wind down hat on or may have completely missed the point somewhere so I am hoping you can help.

Did you get an email saying "Congratulations! A Recurring WA Commission!"? If not then your referral probably has not renewed. WA's payments go out on the first of the month following the email notification. Loes has given you the link to check your next payment.
Does it shows up on https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share/stats
Your next paycheck?
As far as I know, they pay-out every 1st of the month
Hi Loes,
For this particular member, under commisions, there is no reccuring payment. But the member became a premium member on 16th November which has sale as the status for the 1st month. and still has a premium label next to their username and still seems active. If they did not renew, surely they would lose those rights..? Just a little confused. I thought that I would have got a reccuring payment update like with other referrals 1 month after they go premium......
No, they do stay on with this label, this is a premium member and my referral, he left in march 2014, came back in july 2015 and left again after a month https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/adamraasta
That seems like they may have no renewed then. If that is the case, how comes the person can still be active on here...? I thought that if you do not pay, you lose the ability to get involved with the community and still run your website etc....And well that you are no longer a member....
You can send a request for investigation to Kyle or Carson, I am not quite sure what kind of access will remain when you are not a paying member anymore
Someone might correct me if I'm wrong but I've seen a video on here somewhere saying that it will take for few days for the payment to go thru especially if its a new sign up, so I would just wait but I am more then 80% sure that's the case why you haven't received anything.
Hello, It was more the reccuring payment notification and commision that has not entered my account... this person is a still a an active member after their 1st month payment and going premium so surely is still paying.....?

Hey guys,
Just been working on a niche ideas so been looking at my passions and what I'm good at.
I basiclly edit, so looking at possibility of editing for people
Hi Shuk
You could think of all the combination of search phrases that people would put into google who'd be looking for your services ie "I am looking for an editor", "need an editor fast", "editor wanted" etc etc and see what sort of results come out.
You could try the phrases in Jaaxy to see what sort of competition you have and decide whether there is a market for your line of work. If nobody's looking, you could be disappointed.
Mark
Hey Mark, im definitely going to check out Jaaxy , thanks :)
Im looking at targetting actors/dancers who are just starting out that need that vital showreel to get them work. No showreel - no work. So I know theres a certain audience out there and so I want to put my expertise to action while i heavily focus on my WA Bootcamp website.
Kinda like a sideline business.
Doing all my groundwork at the mo. Thanks for your feedback mark :)
Yes and no :)
Basically all actors and dancers need a showreel to show off their work and style. A copy would definitely be added to the actor/dancers youtube/vimeo account and no doubt a copy for their agent. There is definitely a market for it, guess it would be non affiliate though. more of a service that i would be providing myself.
Thanks Mark - I luckily have contacts in the industry so that combined with social media should get the word out! Ill share my site once its launched :)
Hi - I think there are two different things here.
1) you edit - that is a service you can provide to people for a charge
2) affiliate marketing is connecting people with problems to where they can get (buy) a solution to that problem - you are not generally involved in whatever the solution is
So what is it you would like to do? Help people by working for them - or help point them to answers for their problems?
Once you know that, you'll be able to concentrate more clearly on your direction.
All the best, Mark
Hi Mark , I would like to do both but understand they may be 2 separate projects to tackle.
Ok I guess the next question would be, would WA be a good place to work while I focus on my editing services or shall I be looking at a completely difference niche idea that can work with the online entrepreneur certification at WA?
Could you offer your services on sites such as fiverr, fivesquid, people per hour, elance etc....
As for affiliate linking, i have no idea in your field lol, sorry.
Yep ill be doing all of that :)
More a way to link affiliate marketing too.. that's where I'm stuck!
type in google editing + affiliate and have a look, not sure if anything there that will help you.
