Hello Alex, transferring your DNS to WA will allow you to add your domain into this platform but not the work you did on the other platform where your site used to point. You can request the other service provider to connect FTP to download your html pages and images but you will not be able to use your html pages here. It is like you moving to a new house and expecting your furniture to be in when you arrive at the new house. You have to rebuild. Platforms are different so for sure your work is lost. You must understand that DNS are the address of your host and each host has a different platform you build upon. Myself copied all my text before I transferred but I ended up not taking anything from the old website. I guess time for change. Good luck and keep up the good work!@

Thank you for your response! You hit the nail on the head for the solution. WA support is in the process of transferring as much as they can for me.

As promised, the solution to my website transferring problem. Here is a refresher of the question for reference.
I transferred my domain using the (DNS) Name server on blue host and so far I have lost all the work I already completed while it was on blue host.I can not access the complete version on WA or Blue host. I did back it up about 10 days ago. If I restore it I am stuck with a version from about 10 days ago and I am going to lose a lot of work. (It says you cannot return to current version after you restore) Before i restore to the older one is there anyway I can transfer all my work over to WA to get the most current version of my website?
The WA support was amazing and quick. I do not have access to the site quite yet but basically I needed to get the FTP login details (File Transfer Protocol) to WA so they can do it for me.
That's right they said they will transfer all the work I did at blue host to WA .
For the ones that care FTP is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files between a client and server on a computer network. Blah blah blah
From my understanding (correct me if i'm wrong) it is a login that you can create inside your hosting account. The purpose is so others can access your work without having your Standard password and Username.
In my case they had a video on blue host on how to create an FTP account, but when i sent WA the one I created they said "this is not the FTP login" I couldn't figure out how to set it up for WA to be able to use so i just used my default FTP.
You can change your password after WA is done if you dont feel comfortable with them having that info.
If you are having trouble finding your default FTP I would contact support. That is how I found mine.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU BACK UP YOUR WEBSITE WHEREVER IT IS SAVED BEFORE YOU TRY TO MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE DOMAIN HOST OR THE DNS NAME.
When in doubt contact the amazing Website support team here at WA.
Just hover over Siterubix on the left side of the page,
All the way at the bottom of the pop out tab is site support.(click that)
Type in your question get ready for a speedy response.
Hope this helps.
Question, and comments are always encouraged!
Thanks Sregge
PS I will update this post when I have access to my site and report whether or not they retrieved all of my work.

Just so that you know, depending if you were sharing or not an IP address with other domains, you can ask the other service provider to give you the IP address of your old website. You should access your work. I used to be IT tech support for hosting at TELUS this is why I know that stuff!
Good luck!
Brigitte
Wow I didn't know that. You would think blue host would have told me that when I was trying to figure this stuff out.
You shouldn't have told me you were in IT tech support, that is my biggest weakness! Might hear from me quite a bit! :/
Thanks again
Alex
