Website Build Day 2 -I think !
Here we are on Day 2 of building my trial website. This a just a website I thought I would use as a guinea pig for my personal one , using my other business, A restaurant in Spain. So dont worry I didnt choose restaurants as my niche selection.
Anyway the whole of Day 1 was wasted by a serious schoolboy error. I was trying to do some thing that The Theme I chose(, Hero!!! ) does not allow. So, 3 laptop screens later lol. A progress report.
I now have something loosly resembling a website.
I have a homepage but no text, nice photo though, lol.
I have an about page including photos of Me and The Mrs, although I have to confess I replaced hers with a pic of Leanne Rhymes. Dream Big is the motto of this club, is it not?....
I have a blank menu page
I have a customer reviews page, again blank, it's not what your thinking I do have some good ones, lol.
A privacy Policy page. ALL FILLED IN....
My top navigation menu still has things on it that I cant remove and I'm hoping its not the Theme issue again.
And I have given up trying to put 1000 words on each page, I really think its not posssible.
I was toying with the idea of adding the link below, but i think that can wait until the next post when hopefully, if the wife hasn't killed me first, it will look as it should.

On a serious note, wishing you all the best with your website. If the theme doesn't do what you want it to do, best to change it now before you have a lot of content and configurations which may not come across in your new theme if you do decide to change,

Seriously though - you are doing great and it is good to practice that is for sure but it is also good to take the plunge and when you do your online world will open up to amazing possibilities.

Thanks for that. Yes, as soon as this is done, straight on to my personal website. Once that is complete I think I will start to believe even more that anything is possible if you believe in yourself enough. The brain is clever. It can still learn even when your getting older.
