Don't Quote me!
I've been thinking about quotes lately, not just any quotes. Quotes that shout out to be repeated again and again. Quotes that encourage positive goal setting and decision making. Quotes that help make positive outcomes possible.
It's my responsibility to maintain and open hopeful optimistic attitude. Taking the high road even when dropping out and giving up appears so inviting. I must monitor the thoughts I hold dear. Accepting the positive while rejecting the thoughts that promise certain failure. Can't do it, can't have it, can't be it so why try it are unacceptable toxic thoughts that I must always reject. Staying in the process is so important. Doing the training and asking questions even when I would rather waste days trying to figure it out myself.
Supportive caring family and friends have helped. And yes, so have quotes. Here are 3 quotes that have helped me stay on point:
"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't
Arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it."
{Groucho Marx}
"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget
What you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
{Maya Angelou}
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It's the courage to continue
That counts."
{Winston Churchill}

Thx for the quotes, here is a good one I came across yesterday:
"The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are."
- Joseph Campbell
Here's one more...
"I never lose, I either win or learn."
- Unkown
Cheers,
