On three of my posts out of 17 posts only about 1/4 to 1/3 of the word in those three artcles were published. Site support has been very helpful but has yet to figure out why the whole article is not posting. I am just wondering if this has happened to anybody else and what the solution was.

Hi, at what point in the article do the missing words start? It's possible there is a wrongly entered or missing closing tag in the text editor.

For example, if you embolden a word or words and don't close it with , everything after that in your article will appear in bold type.

First, may I suggest opening the text editor and copying each of the affected articles and pasting them into separate Notepad++ pages. This will retain them exactly as you see them in the text editor. Now you have a backup.

Obviously, I can't see your text editor, but, if you wish, send me a screenshot of where the words disappear plus a couple of lines after, and I'll take a look. Don't know if this is the answer, but worth a try. Best wishes.

Gosh that’s awful. I need to back up all my posts. You’re the third person I’ve heard something odd happening to their posts. It’s a sign .. The only thing I can think of is copy and paste .. any other ideas?

Ive had the opposite problem. Text was being, randomly duplicated and I removed it and updated, but it kept returning.

Luckily I'm in the habit of first writing my posts as a Google doc. This works as a backup, and if anything should be lost, I can always go back and copy and paste missing bits over again.

It is very frustrating to have to remember and rewrite several hundred words after this happens.

I had some problems when I wanted to insert images into my text. It all started to go weird on me and wouldn't work. Thought I did something wrong. It kept on crashing on me.

I do and don't wish that it has happened to me because then I could possibly help you and then again I would have had problems.

Is the information lost between using Site Content and when you actually publish or is it information you're editing on the site itself (not using Site Content)?

As soon as I am done writing in site content I make sure everything is spelled correctly and then hit publish. Then I go to my website and see it is not all there.
