Good Day All,

I am trying to figure out a free way to figure out google rankings of my website. I have created 3 posts for my niche, however by using Jaxxy I am only gett

if your site is under 3 months old then i really wouldn't bother with the ranking
google takes it 's time starting to compare your content against others as so many sites come and go within the three month period.
it waits to see if you are staying and consistently creating content - if you do then it starts to compare your content against others and you start rising in the ranks...
hte best way is to check your search console account - not set it up yet then don't worry about hte ranking...
in the forst three months it is self promotion via social media and forums that wil lget you hte traffic....
good luck
phil

Thank you very much...follow up question...if it is under 3 months does it mean it will not be indexed or it takes that much time to index?

each article wil lget indexed - the first time usually takes the longest as google needs to find you - but after that as long as you link out and between articles then google follows the links ot and from your site...
posting in the allowed threads on here for comments and feedback also helps google see your links
but once you setup google search console you will be adding a sitemap and that really helps google see your site.
you can request url inspection from search console as well - this speeds things up a bit ....
but to see what is indexed then type
site:[yoursitename]
into google - changing [yoursitename] with your url - you see what is in the index for your site....

Thank you for the information fellow engineer....I appreciate the detail.

no worries
good luck with your project

Good Day All,

I have written 2 posts on my website related to my niche but got the following scores:

a) 1689 words - AIOSEO 68/100

b) 1200 words - AIOSEO 65/1

Catherine gave you some great advice.
Joe

I get low scores because of long titles and too much passive voice. I just can't get my head around passive speech!

How did you figure out the part regarding long titles and passive speech?

They are not important in my opinion it is more important to nail your keyword research and write naturally addressing the problems in your niche

Thank you very Much Catherine

Good Day All,

I hope all of you are doing wonderful today. I am sure you have all heard of the statement "Don't Reinvent the wheel", that said I am having trouble rewrit

If you use the same sentences then it's plagiarism

Hi - the age of the original post is irrelevant, Google will always be able to see it and will spot if any content has been copied and pasted from it. You can use other posts for inspiration and ideas, but everything has to be written in your own words. Nothing should be copied and pasted.

@DianeScorpio May i ask how you track whether you have plagiarised text or not on your website?

Hi - I use Grammarly. Abie has kindly given you the link below.

I use Copyscape and Grammarly

I am assuming you are referring to one of your own posts from a 2014 blog. If so, have you considered simply updating the post instead of creating an entirely new one?

If you are intent on creating a new post, I do not see a problem as long as you do not copy and paste any of the content word for word. A good writer can take one topic and spin it into 5 or more articles geared toward different audiences or age groups etc. You would be basically doing the same.

I look forward to seeing the positive outcome :)
Best, Shannon

@jaz333 Thank you for the advice....It will take time for me to become a good writer...Baby steps towards non-plagiarism

Hi, I believe as long as it is reworded totally original and unique, it would be okay.

Because we all read reviews, however how we understand from our point of view, we put our own pulse or spun on it.

You can use below tool

https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker

Thank you very much for this...This is extremely useful

So very welcome, let us know if you need further assistance, happy to help.
