Just Finished Course number 2 - I'm so proud of myself
I joined WA about 3 months ago and I feel very proud of myself :)
I came up with my own niche website and my own domain, I learned about the importance of keywords, I wrote a few posts that took me (what felt like forever) to write, because writing isn't my strong side (yet) and I had to make it perfect.
Here is my site www.knittingmaterial.com and I'd love for you to check it out and tell me what you think.
Going forward I'm setting my self two goals:
1. In 3 months (January) I hope to be ranked under 500 here at WA (gotta get working on that).
2. In 6 months (April) I hope I will be posting daily on my website and won't be scared to write long posts.
In the past 3 months I met new friends here and WA, some amazing people that are willing to help me out even though we have never even met before.
I am grateful for you all and it makes me happy to know that there are people that still believe in paying it forward.
Have a great day!
Paulina

Good for you Paulina, way to go! Your knitting site is looking great, just keep on adding content there! Have you thought about putting any videos there? I think that could be a valuable thing for some people who are just getting into knitting. And it could be about some funny stuff too like kittens playing with thread. You know, mix education with fun...

Hi Paulina, nice topic. Here's an uplifting thought for you: writing is as knitting; the more you practice it, the better you will be. Look back at how many years you have been knitting and how long you're writing now. Was your feeling about your first article not the same as after knitting your first scarff? A feeling of pride you had accomplished it on your own? Wish you all the succes with your site and fun learning and Building in WA.
Thank you so much Yonah! I like the analogy you made, it made me smile because it is really like that.
Thanks again!
I tell you a secret: I'm one of the minority of men that can knit. (Not as good as experienced Ladies though)
Congratulations you are doing well, do like our site and I could do with following it to improve my knitting skills which is non existent I am using bamboo needles for now,, we are making blankets for the people of the Nepal disaster
