Happy Monday, fellow Wealthy Affiliates! I hope you had a great weekend!
Lately, I am hearing people in restaurants and social gatherings speak of their financial woes. Unlike those of us here at WA, they have resigned blaming our government, our country, our world, the banks, etc. for their predicament. There is nothing we can do about all the external scenarios. There is something; however, that we can we can do internally.
Have you ever become a victim of financial institutions because you were enslaved by debt? Perhaps you felt you would never recover? I have had friends who committed suicide during onset of the recession who lost everything. I would never have thought it was in their character to bail out. There is an old saying, "it will only get better because the only way is up".

These friends were not nearly as in debt as a man who owned an empire and eventually became $9KM in debt. One day as he walked past a homeless man sleeping on a sidewalk, he realized the homeless man was $9KM richer than he was. He pulled up his sleeves up and went to work. He doubled down on what he had done before, evolved and pulled himself out of debt. He had the courage to avoid coming from a mentality of scarcity and deprivation. Most would have resigned, as did my friends who were far less in debt. I admire the attitude of courage and abundance this man had. His story has been an inspiration to me. When the bills would pile up, i would roll up my sleeves and borrow . . . not money . . . his courage and attitude of abundance.
People who come from a position of scarcity, have nothing to give themselves or anyone else. They tend to seek out the faults of others rather than the positive example others set before them. This man's story has given me a new perspective regarding business and finances. No matter how much in debt I have been in the past, I was able to be persistent and focus on abundance. So to those coming from a mental position of scarcity, focus is better placed on an emphasis of abundance rather than Donald Trump's hair. : )
