One Year with WA.What Now?
It's been a year since joining WA and the ride has been...well, real. I've learned a lot. Mostly that building and promoting a website, for me, is challenging yet rewarding in a way that has nothing to do with money or commissions. I've learned a lot about what I'm made of and WA has pulled out some characteristics and qualities I didn't realize were still inside...persistence, creativity, and patience, patience, patience! I plan to pay for the Annual membership very soon as I see that WA and I will be friends for a very long time. You hanging there, the magic, from what everyone involved in blogging that I know - both WA members and non-members say the real magic happens after the 2nd or 3rd year.
Of course, some lucky ones strike it lucky and are earning a livable income much quicker than that. Kinda difficult to determine an exact time scale for every single person due to a whole host of variables like niche, quality of content, frequency of posting content, commissions available (both cost of product and %) in said niche, SEO Skill set to name a few.
I have noticed a big difference in Year two myself (July 2017 is month 20 for my blog) By May of this I had already earned more than I had for the whole of last year! Using free traffic only - hey PPC I can do even more but I am kinda lazy of doing that wanting a stronger SEO foundation/Income first.
Thanks for the truth and words of encouragement. I plan to stick it out until something happens! I. Happy you're seeing good results. I know my time is coming...be blessed!
