It is possible as Moritz says, but if the current page has already been indexed it then it will be duplicate content and therefore harder to rank..

Hi, Does anyone know why my page name won't change on google search? I have copied the new name into the permalink and pressed update. All the other pages have changed except this
Google already has your page indexed with original name. You can either submit a new sitemap or just wait and google will crawl your site and make necessary changes in their index. It may take 4 or 5 days to see the changes.
My guess is, that it will just take a bit longer for google to change.
You shouldn't do this too often, by the way.
This way you might lose the ranking you had before on google, as the new links will get a new rank.
(At least that is what I know about it.)
