Help, when help is needed

I’m not one to partake in the politics that’s has becoming rankings on the platform. But I do want to bring something to light in regards to an experience I had recently.

A few days ago I found myself in a pickle, and really needed the help of the community to figure something out. So I asked a question. I was a bit taken back by the responses. I got responces that had nothing to do with the question I was asking, I had someone try to be helpful I think but when I asked for clarification on what they said I never got a response. And then finally someone reached out and gave me the helping hand I was at this point desperate for...

I know rankings are important for many, and it’s great that you intend on helping people out. But there are many people on this platform that genuinely need help and guidance and it can be misleading when you ask for help, and you get responses like “hi there wish you all the best and good luck”.

I have met some fantastic people here who have helped me beyond what I can say thank you for. And I am greatful that one of them found my reach for help and gave me a helping hand.

When somone asks for help, let’s help them. Let’s truly strive to be better and do better and pay it forward to other members here.

If I have at all said something that offends somone or rubs then the wrong way, it is not my intention to do so. Sometime in order to make positive steps forward we need to talk about things that we can do differently...
