Choosing a Niche
Choosing a niche for many people seems really complicated... You want to choose one that has lots of affiliate programs available, one that is really popular and can make you lots of money, a niche that is special and one people love...
But what about what you love?
The best niche to choose is one that you are most interested in, something you love and something you will want to read about and learn about and write about everyday. There are affiliate links for every niche out there, and tones of them. There is money to be made no matter what. So choose something you love.
When you are writing out your content you want your readers to feel connected, and interested. How do you possibly expect to accomplish this if you aren't.
Building a successful business will take some time, effort and dedication. If you love your niche and love what you write about then you will find that being patient and letting your business grow will be a lot easier. You will find yourself more patient and really enjoying your time online.

That is such good advice Sophie, we do need to love what we are doing, it can be hard work if we don't.
it can be hard when we first start out trying to niche down, as they say, that first one will not be your one and only so it can pay dividends to look at it as learning the craft if we love what we do it is not like hard work at all.
The first niche I looked at didn't really excite me it was in the health field, if I had battled away at that one when my heart wasn't in it I would have given up long ago, went with a different niche, I have a really good domain name sitting on the shelf that is related to that first niche. just thinking that I may flesh it out now,
So what I am adding, don't panic about it just try and go with your flow.and follow what you feel good about.
Sometimes it's best to just keep things simple. Life is already complicated enough... just do what you love :)

What you have said is important enough that much time is spent in the training on it!
This means, in other words, to find your passion. I have read many blogs here, from people who say they can write about anything. I agree with that; I write a great many articles for a great many people about all kinds of stuff.
...BUT that does not mean that I have a PASSION for each and everything I write about for others!
In order to connect to your readers and make an authoritative impression on them, you simply MUST have a passion that shines through!
That passion for some niche will indicate what niche it should be.
