Arrived in China!
So, I've safely arrived in China! Feeling slightly jet lagged and completely exhausted, but it is what it is!
I'm super excited now to get going with the trek for charity! The people here are lovely, and very friendly, so I feel very lucky to have been placed with such a lovely group of people!! Now I'm off for dinner, time to taste the Chinese food for real! (I will post another blog in a few days with some photos if anyone is interested!)
My goal before heading to China was to get in the top 200 rank, and sadly I'm 201!! So so close, but haven't earned that badge yet! I'm not going to be able to be as active on a as I normally would be, so I know this rank will go down before I'm home again. But hey ho, I'm sure I can try to work back up after!

Kill your walk, best of luck, I thought you walked yesterday so I feel stupid giving you the wake-up weather forecast yesterday LOL Have fun and kill it, I predict by end of October your in the Top 100 so no need to stress, as Big Mike says, enjoy the now, that is why they call it the present. Safe returns.
If ever got the chance to come to Malaysia, you should try the chinese food here. I love it better here, more flavour. Safe trip
Hi Sophie thank you for reporting your progress, good that you arrive safely, do not overdo it.
We would be interested in a report about the differences in what we call a Chinese meal and the actual real thing.
Look after yourself. We worry about you

Hi John,
thank you, that's very kind!
My first taste of it was quite westernised, I'm in a proper hotel this evening so I think they cooked more english-type food! The true test will be in the hostels over the next few days:)
