Like many of you, I got side tracked. I was on a strong path forward when I joined WA last November. I wasn't moving at rocket speed as I had to re-watch some videos a few times as this was entirely new to me, but I was getting some great feedback.

Then life sort of had other plans for me the next few months or so. I moved 2 times, switched 2 different jobs, started relationships, ended relationships, not to mention all of the COVID-19 anxiety that America is experiencing. I felt exhausted and needed quite a bit of "me" time to pull myself back up.

After taking that time, the universe seemed to send me signs that I was finding my path again. One of the signs was that despite the hysteria this epidemic was causing everyone else, I felt differently about it. I saw it as a opportunity to further justify pursuing my dream of financial independence and passive income.

How does a person find financial independence when the country is arguably headed towards one of the largest economic collapses of our time?

The vision is clear to me: Learn. Create. Invest.

Now is the time to get your affiliate website off the ground...maybe you won't see real income for a year or more, but now is the time to build it up. Go through the modules. Do the live trainings. Engage with your audience. Enjoy the process.

Learn. I am currently learning a lot...not only from WA but also about habit formation, business, stock investing, fall prevention with the geriatric population, home decorating, and song and music writing. My enthusiasm for new learning some days makes my brain want to explode. Like I mentioned in my other post, shiny object syndrome is real for me too, hence why I am working on my habits.

Create. I am currently creating 2 additional websites. I wanted to make sure I remembered what I learned 6 months ago which sparked the new websites so I could go through the modules again and make a cheat sheet for myself.

My long-term goal is to possibly combine or link the 2 Senior niche ones together. I also found it a good opportunity to start one on stock investing since I am currently learning and working on this with my father. The best way to learn is to teach, and there couldn't be a better time to invest in stocks than when prices are low.

I am also working on creating music with one of my best friends. I was in choir back in my high school days so there's quite a learning curve there as well. More for the fun of it.

Invest. As Oprah says, "The most valuable thing you can give yourself is time." I have been using this sheltering in place time to invest in myself. You are your own most valuable investment. I am investing time as often as I can to really work through all of these modules. I am investing time to understand the financial market and how businesses operate.

My desire for this continues to grow: the ability to work from home, to make your own money, to work for yourself, and to enjoy passive income streams. This is my American dream. I can't wait to see more people make it their dream too.
