Staying Consistent While Facing Challenges
Many of us go through huddles that stop us in our track. Most of us give up and turn back when this happens, a very small number of us are able to jump over the huddle because we simply refused to stop regardless of the huddle.
This post is for us and many people like us who are going through somethings right now that we feel are standing in our way. I love Wealthy Affiliate for this blog feature that allows its members to share their journey of ups and downs when building an online business.
Where Has The Time Gone?
It's been months since my last blog. Much has happened since then and I feel that I need to share all of it and how it has affected my progress with Wealthy Affiliate, my website and other business endeavours.
Seeing this is my first post in a while, I just want to let out a little bit of steam and get back into the groove of things so please bear with me.
I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for a few months now and I have been quite busy in these few months. I have managed to build one or two income sources since I stared here and I know that wouldn't have been possible without WA.
I Am Ashamed...
I write this post ashamed at my progress thus far as I hoped to be at a more advanced and productive space by now. Many obstacles, both serious and trivial, have hindered my progress and I only have myself to blame.
My wife and I have taken note of our unproductivity over past few months and we both agree that we can and must do more. Don't get us wrong, we have been working but not to our potential and so we agreed to not let many distractions easily derail us.
Facing Challenges
We all go through somethings many times in our lives. Some challenges are great and keep you down permanently whilst others are insignificant. We perceive situations differently and so have different outlooks on life.
My wife and I have been going through some turmoil in both our personal and business lives. These challenges got to a point where we had to take a break from everything and just pause.
Sometimes, what all of us need is a second or even a minute to pause and reassess the situation. From this pause, you can gain clarity and direction, which is what happened to us.
Staying Consistent
Consistency is key to any success and we are all aware of this factor. It's extremely difficult to stay consistent while facing roadblocks at each corner. We understand this better than anyone and that's the purpose of this post. If you are going through something similar, hang in there, it gets better.
A First Of Many
This post is the first of four that I will be writing on a weekly basis month to month. One blog post per week. As easy as it sounds, this has been my goal since the beginning but until today I haven't been able to follow through with a single month.
Hoping All Goes Well
I truly hope to stick to the goal this time. One major obstacle that we always blame for this current situation is almost gone. In a matter of weeks, our lives will be completely transformed. With this transformation comes a great deal of opportunity that we have been waiting for for a long time.
Once we have arrived at that point, I will write a detailed post detailing everything. I will be quite excited during that period so I can't wait to share with you all.

Hey Guys, Sometimes life gets in the way. It's normal. As long as you don't give up, you're still in the race. This summer I've spent less time on my business. A lot of it is because I've been spending more time with family and doing things around the house. And also in the summer time I feel less inspired to be sitting at my desk for hours when its beautiful outside. I know myself and I don't force the situation. I know I will get back on the horse. And the same applies for a lot of business owners.
This is quite reassuring Eddy. At least this is normal so I won't beat myself up for it anymore. You are right, as long as we are still in this, we are still in this.
I can't wait for summer as I feel it will be a blast working in the early hours of the morning before the sun rises.
