. Another Milestone Achieved!
It's a silly milestone, but I've been looking forward to achieve it for some weeks: 400 users in the last 30 days. It's a record for me :D I did it today, with 401 users. Will it go back? Most likely :) but the fact is I never had so many people visititng my website!!
I've also seen a very positive sign yesterday: 31 users on my website, half of it, from direct links! Could it be people are visiting my website because they bookmarked it and are coming back? :O I really can't explain it as I did nothing to make it happen.
Which sort of annoys me :) I want it to happen much more often, but I need to understand it to be able to replicate it, at least create the right circumstances to make it happen.
My carrot soap recipe is also a "big hit": 35 page views per week and rising (a few weeks ago it was 20) and is my number 1 post.
Well, I do owe this to WA wonderful training and community, as I feel that my work now is getting results!
Following training advice, I have been engaging in a facebook group in my niche: soap making. It's a group of 4,9k people most of them from Brazil, in which a lot of people struggle to make some money. They join the group to find help and learn how to make soap and make an income for them, even if partial.
It's a win-win to know what people are looking for in this niche and at same time to be able to help them out, giving some directions, most of the time about ingredients. I am also going to take advantage to expand my knowledge on an area I didn't find much interest but where is probably the biggest public for this niche: soap making with melt & pour base.
I didn't know you could give and get so much from something that is a bit time consuming but, at same time, is helping you with your business.
Advice to the community: try to get into a social media group from your niche and engage, seriously and honestly, giving a bit of yourself to it. Even if it's just one social media and one group. You will gain a lot from it!!
I'll keep posting more often :)
Cheers,
Sofia
