Woohoo! First 1o lessons in the bag.
I started this affiliate journey with some knowledge of building word press sites, but no knowledge on how to monetize the sites or just build a profitable affiliate site. After finishing the first 10 lessons, I can say that I am on my way.
The first thing that I learned was how to set up my back end of my site. I thought that I had set my prior word press sites up properly. Through the training, I found out this is not the case. Thankfully, the tutorial walked me right through it step by step and the back end set up was a piece of cake.
Secondly, I always thought of blogging as a chore, never "hey, I am having a conversation with some buddies". I used to feel so much pressure blogging on sites such as Blogger, etc. I just never felt like I was blogging correctly. Of course, as a newbie I am still finding my wings but it feels like I can spread them a bit more now and now the terrain that I am traveling.
Thirdly, I knew about keywords and always assumed that I was picking out some good ones just using google but through the training I learned how to properly find them, and to use them. What a world of difference it makes when you have someone explain it to you in laymen terms.
It all makes sense.
Lastly, the community on WA. Oh my goodness. From day one they have been very welcoming and helpful. Not like any other program for affiliates that I have joined, and believe me I have gone through a couple. I am very excited to continue on and learn how to get these sites going and continue to learn and grow with the WA Community.
So cheers to the next set of lessons. With the help of WA and the community I feel like I can make this work.
