Life is a ride!
Up and Down... and back up again.
I fell off the roof. I mean really, I fell from the roof on November 3 while trying to step on the ladder after cleaning gutters, and landed on concrete, with my leg wrapped up in the ladder... and took my first ambulance ride ever. I cracked a vertabrae (that real functional one between the upper and lower back) and spent 2 months in a brace, unable to bend, or go to work. I chanted "I am healed" daily for weeks. And it worked pretty well! But I believe what really worked is that I was still, and prayed a lot, and got a lot of answers. I used the time to think deeply about so many things, and came out the other side, changed, for the better. Learned again, it's not what happens to you, but how you respond. This is so critical. And of course I ate humble pie too. It could've been so much worse, and there are worse things happening in the world. I'm just going to call it a brief excursion off course, and get right back to my intentions.
So I was distracted for a bit, and had to handle a lot of red tape, and juggle a lot of crazy details, and then take time to add more to my gratitude list. I'm calmer, wiser, inspired in a new way, and different than before. I like it. Life doesn't have to be like a race in your head... it's more like a ride, for sure, so hang on, and enjoy it every moment you can.

I know that one, put a drill through my hand and fell off the roof, not the falling but the sudden stop at the bottom that causes the pain and dents the pride.
You Will be pleased, that you have mended.
Sound advice, life not a sprint, taking time can add so much value.
Awesome. Well let's take it in stride.! Acceptance of who we are would create more results and genuine change!
