Hi

I have just joined premium and finished some of the basic trainig. I have some basic info about me and some questions for the community.

1. Question:

Should I do the affiliate boot camp training irregardless if I know my Niche or not?

2. About Me:

I have many passion's and interests. I own a small Entertainment Business business 40k / Year www.totalentertainmentdj.biz Covid crushed it in 2020 & 2021 so far :( I am also a full time sales rep for an Industrial Caster Manufacturer. I have always wanted to make money online. I dabbled in a few things but quickley came to the understanding, that I really need to understand. I need to learn, and thats the problem. So many online Internet marketing or sales gurus and all they want to do is sell you their course or program for a month or so and hope you dissapear. I have been victim to this a few times. My goal here is to hopefully find HONEST people or Mentors who genually want to help me be successful without the $~$ signs in their eyes on how they can make money from me.

3. Trello Project Managment Tool.

I have set up a Trello Project Management page and am treating this "learning experience" as a "Project" to organize my workflow, training and thoughts. Maybe this could even be one of my Niche's "Designing Trello Templates"

4. Question: "Niches"

So after completing the "Whats my Niche" section, I wrote down some of my passions & interestes as you can see in the trello pic above. My question is this. Can I myself be a Niche? for example ... If my website, that I build through the Wealthy Affiliate was focoused on "ME" "James Smokie" and who I am, what is interesting about me, what makes me passionate, what makes me special, what makes me "Helpful" and finally what I have to offer the "4 Billion" people on the internet. So the goal would be to share my interests, passions Niches to a network of affiliate links I would need to develop and continually grow. Please share your thought. Thank you.

Hi

We always recommend starting out with own niche vs the Affiliate Bootcamp (make money online niche) as the latter is a lot harder and more competitive, you would need to write 300 to 400 articles before you are able scratch the surface (100 plus for own niche)

You'd also need to do the whole Bootcamp in its entirety before you can commence with your site.

Recommendation is to focus on ONE niche at a time, even Kyle himself would recommend the same.

Lula has shared an awesome resource below.

WA has all the tools you need to get the skills to promote your business successfully, I would the coursework being it OEC or the Affiliate Bootcamp to the T and do the checklists bottom of lessons, tasks and activities to help me set up correctly.

Trello tried one time, not too keen however that's a personal preference, there's also notion you may want to try.

We use a premium service as Monday dot com to manage our workflow and team collaboration.

You can be a great niche, please review below discussion for further learning Kindly let us know when needing help or have further questions.

Welcome to WA and our community.

Thank you

Hey
For myself I would choose something that resonates with me, could be a hobby, interest, a side hustle, something I know about and can write lots of original content. Anything rings the bell? it is important to know who your target audience is gonna be, who you are writing to and once you figure this out, it becomes easier coming up with a niche. The Affiliate Bootcamp is the (make money online niche) I want to write lots of content addressing issues in making money. You need to see what type of audience (see resource below) you want to reflect on and resonate with you, may have knowledge with them and can reach out to them through your content. I was recommended to do the whole thing before starting work on my site and to only focus on wanting to do your own niche or the Bootcamp. I recommend and Kyle too to focus on ONE site, I have two directions: my own and MMO (make money online niche) and I am finding it hard balancing out both. For now I am focusing on my own niche because I can reach a hundred posts sooner than if I were to commence on Bootcamp, that's totalling 300 to 400 posts. I figured out I can monetize my own niche sooner than my Bootcamp. That's my experience.

But the best way is to follow the training and apply what is taught in the lessons, I also tick the bottom of the lessons to help me set up my site correctly.

About Me blog post I write my help Please reach out if you need help or a hand.
Wishing you well, continued success and a terrific day.

Thank you

You're welcome.
