Deleting negative thoughts
I read a post here recently, sorry I can't remember who posted it, but they suggested when you think a negative thought write it on a post-it then scrunch up the post-it and throw it in the bin.
I think this is a really great idea and I have been doing this and it really helps but sometimes, very often, negative thoughts jump into my head when I am driving or in bed and I don't have a post-it or piece of paper to hand. If this happens I imagine I am writing the negative thought on a post-it then scrunch it up in my head and pop it in a bin and put a lid on it with a loud bang! This helps me get rid of negative thoughts.
Just another way of banishing those bad thoughts!

Hi Sharon, As I started to read your post, I had vision of you working with wads of yellow paper scattered all about the room. LOL! Great idea. Add one more thing to it. Whenever you have a negative thought, after you have done this, replace it with two positive thoughts. Dave.
