Notification overload
I'll have to admit that I was a little overwhelmed by the plethora of "follow" notifications that I received in my email box upon joining WA last week. I felt a little like Lucy on Big Bang Theory when Raj smothered her with attention on their first date. I communicated with a few members, read a lot of profiles and tried to answer everyone who was kind enough to "follow" me. Then it turned into information overload and I quickly crawled out the bathroom window and disappeared for the rest of the week! Eek! I was trying to come to terms with following the lessons while simultaneously communicating with everyone, all the while having an eye on my numerical standing in the community. I very nearly backed out completely. The sincerity of the people of WA kept calling me back. I have returned to the work on my website and time permitting, hope to have some results sometime next week. Thanks to all those who have written me a note. I haven't been able to respond to each person yet but please know that your support is uplifting.

Smaberly, I agree hundred percent with you. My post for tomorrow deals with the same subject.

Go to your settings. You can update them to get only the notifications you need. I just have training and blog posts. I get the rest from within WA.
Thanks Debbie. I assumed there must be a way to stop the notifications from filling my email box. I just hadn't researched it yet. Thanks for saving me the time!
